The Iowa Medical Society (IMS) is your voice where policy decisions are made. Through the Iowa Medical Political Action Committee (IMPAC), we don’t just react to policy—we help shape it. Every day, inside the Capitol and across the state, we’re building meaningful relationships with legislators and decision-makers to champion Iowa’s physicians and the future of health care. Powered by the passion and support of IMS members like you, IMPAC ensures that the medical profession is heard today and for generations to come.
Donate to IMPAC Today
  • IMPAC may accept personal contributions. Voluntary political contributions by individuals to IMPAC should be made with a personal check or credit card. 
  • IMPAC cannot accept corporate contributions under law.
  • Should a business wish to contribute, IMPAC may only accept contributions from businesses organized as an LLC or an LLP (Iowa Administrative Rule 351—4.44).                                                 
  • Contributions are not tax-deductible. The Iowa Medical Society will not favor or disadvantage anyone based on the amount or failure to make PAC contributions.                                                                                                       
  • IMPAC must report all contributions and expenditures. You can view the IMPAC reports here.
