Physician Business Leadership Program Presents 2019 Graduates

On Tuesday, September 10, IMS attended the 2019 Physician Leadership Conference hosted by the Iowa Hospital Association in Des Moines where 18 physicians across Iowa completed a yearlong comprehensive education program to better equip physician leaders in today’s complex health care environment. This year’s Physician Business Leadership Program graduates are strong leaders who demonstrate innovation and focused decision making abilities who will be successful leaders in medicine. Included in this group of graduates were two IMS Board Members, Dr. Leonard Kerr and Dr. Sharmini Suriar.

The Iowa Medical Society congratulates the first graduating class of the 2019 Physician Business Leadership Program, and would like to thank our partnering organizations, the Iowa Hospital Association, the Iowa Healthcare Collaborative, and the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians.
