Join Us for a Crucial Conversations® Mastering Dialogue for Healthcare Training: Saturday, October 8

IMS Headquarters | 515 E. Locust St. Des Moines, IA

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

IMS is hosting a Crucial Conversations® Mastering Dialogue for Healthcare Training sessions on October 8, 2022. Crucial Conversations® teaches skills for creating team alignment and agreement by fostering open dialogue around high-stakes, emotional, or risky topics—at all levels of your organization. By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), you’ll surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and then act on your decisions with unity and commitment.

What Is a Crucial Conversation®?

A crucial conversation is a discussion between two or more people where the stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. These conversations—when handled poorly or ignored—lead to strained relationships and dismal results.

Backed by 30 years of social science, Crucial Conversations skills represent the standard in effective communication, and the marker of high performance individuals and organizations.

The training is a one-day, condensed workshop that provides the foundational skills of crucial conversations, modeled after the Crucial Conversations FOCUSED® workshop, with the latest tools, resources, and skills designed for healthcare professionals.

What Does Crucial Conversations® Teach?

Crucial Conversations teaches participants how to:

  • Speak persuasively, not abrasively
  • Foster teamwork and better decision making
  • Build acceptance rather than resistance
  • Resolve individual and group disagreements
Join us for one of our intensive, interactive, Crucial Conversations  workshops in October! Seats are limited. Secure your spot today.
