COVID-19 Patient Resources

Practicing basic safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic is absolutely critical to helping close the spread of the disease in your community. At the same time, Iowans need to be mindful of the importance of staying up-do-date on needed well-care and chronic disease care. Both are possible with just a few additional precautions.

This page is intended to connect patients and families with resources related to basic safety and seeking medical care during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This page will continue to be updated as new resources and guidance become available.

For specific information on what local services are available to you and your loved ones, contact your doctor’s office. They can tell you more about services like telehealth to receive care in your home, outreach events like back-to-school vaccination clinics, and what your insurance will cover. They can also offer one-on-one information about cloth face coverings and other COVID-19 safety precautions.

If you are unable to locate needed information or have additional questions, please contact Kady Reese with IMS.
