IMS offers CME to help you meet IBM mandate on end-of-life care
November 08, 2012
The Iowa Medical Society is offering a new on-demand webinar that will help you get the two hours of end-of-life CME that the Iowa Board of Medicine (IBM) mandated for all Iowa physicians who regularly provide primary health care to patients. This webinar focuses on identifying care options, the use of advanced directives and DNR orders, the specific needs of Alzheimer's patients and patients suffering from dementia, and the importance of communicating with the patient, their family and the other members of the health care team. The course is available to IMS members for just $75. Not only is this an excellent price, but you have the added convenience of accessing the webinar 24/7 from your computer. To learn more, visit the IMS Seminar page or contact Kara Bylund at or (515) 223-1401, ext. 207.
