IMS is now on Twitter!
February 08, 2012
If you need a quick way to be linked to the latest developments at the Iowa Legislature, you need to follow the Iowa Medical Society on Twitter. When the General Assembly is in session, we'll tweet about issues and advocacy alerts so you can respond and be a part of our advocacy efforts at just the right moment to make a difference. We'll also cover other programs and services that may be of interest to you as a member of IMS.
Following us on Twitter is easy – simply go to this link and click the green "follow" button in the upper left-hand portion of the page. If you don't have a Twitter account yet, just enter your name, e-mail address, and password. No one can see your e-mail address and you don't have to use your real name. All you're doing is creating an account that will aggregate the individuals or organizations you choose to follow.
So if you're new to Twitter, give it a shot and see how useful it can be to have the news delivered directly to you. Questions or comments? Tell us what you think below!
