RAC reviews have begun in Region D (Iowa) and all medical practices must be ready to respond. During this session participants will be provided a historical summary of the RAC program and what it means for your medical practice. The webinar will describe the fundamental overpayment issues pursued by the RACs and identify actions steps for reducing your risk relative to those issues. This session will also explore the RAC audit procedural steps, including the provider’s right to appeal, and discuss the pros and cons of filing an appeal.
