During the Senate's recess, Senator Grassley will be conducting a series of Iowa town hall meetings. Physicians must take this opportunity to discuss with Grassley the importance of legislation that would prevent a 10.1 % reduction in Medicare physician reimbursement. The legislation that prevented this from occurring only covers payments through June. Congress needs to replace these cuts with positive updates that reflect practice cost increases.
Grassley will hold town hall meetings in Anamosa, Bancroft, Clarion, Dakota City, Decorah, Dyersville, Eldridge, Emmetsburg, Garner, Hampton, Inwood, Manchester, Marion, Mason City, Northwood, Parkersburg, Primghar, Sibley, Sioux Center, Spencer, Spirit Lake, Stacyville, Tipton, Toledo and West Union.
He will also speak with the Waverly Kiwanis; the Charles City Rotary; the Estherville Rotary; and the Kalona Rotary.
