Our Purpose
The Iowa Medical Society Alliance is an organization consisting of a diverse group of physicians' spouses. We are united by a common interest in promoting accessible, quality healthcare through service, education and advocacy for the residents of Iowa.
What Is Our Focus?
Our members make an active contribution that positively impacts the future of healthcare in our society. Community activities address health, social and legislative issues which are education and prevention focused. We offer leadership development at county, state and national levels. We promote the good health of our community and support the family of medicine.
What Do We Do?
- Support health-related charitable endeavors;
- Support the medical family
- Promote health education
- Encourage members to participate in volunteer activities that meet community health needs
- Assist the Iowa Medical Society and American Medical Association Alliance in programs to improve the health and quality of life for all
