IMS Committees |
A key part of the policy-making process at IMS is the work of committees. Standing committees such as the Committee on Legislation or the Committee on Public Health meet regularly to deliberate and make recommendations on IMS policy regarding health care issues. Serving on an ad hoc committee is a short-term commitment since members are appointed to make recommendations on one specific issue. If you are an IMS member and are interested in serving on a committee, contact the IMS staff person assigned to that committee. Gender is an important diversity consideration for nomination to committees. |
